Crater Position all shifts ($18.72, $2 shift incentive) Job at Greenheck Group
Precision Coils is proud to be a part of Greenheck Group, one of America’s Best Midsize Employers as rated by Forbes! Precision Coils is searching for Crater on 2nd and 3rd shift. We offer $2.00 shift premium! Pay starts at $18.72/hr
As a Crater your responsibilities will be:
- Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed using SAP
- Retrieve cut sheets for building crates
- Cut wood according to dimensions on cut sheets
- Assemble crates
- Place coils in crates ensuring quality and stability of the coil
- Measure and weigh crates for shipping purposes
- Stage coils for shipment
- Place crated coils on truck for shipment
- Track in-process coils to see what might need crates
Applicants must be available to work 2nd shift, overtime as needed and have the following qualifications:
- Education : High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience is preferred (will certify in-house)
- Power tool experience is preferred (saws, nail guns)
- Detail-oriented
- Work independently
- Blueprint reading skills
- The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
- Ability to move at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand use hand tools 10-12 hours per day
- Wear the necessary PPE for the position.
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented - precision and accuracy
- High level of professionalism
