CREDIT ANALYST - LOGISTICS

A Rancho Dominguez logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Credit Analyst. Joining the corporate headquarters Accounting & Finance division, this motivated candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day review of existing and potential customer data in order to make informed credit decisions in a fast-paced and growing company.

Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) needed.

What does the position require?

• Assisting in financial analysis and approval of credit for new customers
• Reviewing credit of existing customers and identifying potential delinquent payment risks
• Assisting in set up of new customers in Company software and ensuring the accuracy of billing and other customer data
• Assisting AR specialists in the timely collection of delinquent accounts as needed and compiling weekly AR aging reports
• Performing other tasks as necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department

What are we looking for?

• High School diploma required, Associates degree or higher preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a corporate credit or accounts receivable environment
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to exercise tact and courtesy in frequent contact with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products

This firm is a transportation company with a focus on providing safe, reliable, advanced transportation services (Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Warehousing) to a wide variety of customers throughout the continental U.S.A.

Working with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and superior Excel skills needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
