Summary: The Assistant Credit & Collections Manager will be responsible for helping the Credit & Collections Manager manage and maintain all aspects of Apex’s credit accounts, including:

  • Establishing new accounts
  • Monitoring existing accounts
  • Resolving any account issue(s) that may arise
  • Communications with Station Managers & Sales to resolve serious past due accounts

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing applications for new lines of credit and credit limit increases (this includes gathering information about creditworthiness of applicants).
  • Monitoring accounts for delinquencies or other issues that may require additional attention from Collection Specialists.
  • Collections on Key Accounts.
  • Report preparation, spreadsheets, and other documents related to the Credit Department’s activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years Accounts Receivable experience (B2B)
  • BS Degree in Accounting/Finance a plus
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial Statement Analysis experience a must
  • Negotiating Skills
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Proficient in MS office (proficiency with Pivot Tables & Vlookup)
  • Experience with GetPaid collection automation platform.
  • Experience with Credit Insurance a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

  • Accounts receivable: 5 years (Preferred)
