Canyon Country Youth Corps (CCYC) is a Conservation Corps located in Monticello, Utah. CCYC is operated by the Canyon County Discovery Center. CCYC provides opportunities for youth and young adults, ages 15-30, to participate in service work projects in Southeastern Utah in partnership with the land managing agencies of the region.
Projects may include trail maintenance and construction; fence construction; habitat restoration; mechanical and non-mechanical thinning; invasive species removal and treatment; and other conservation-related projects in a backcountry setting.

Canyon Country Youth Corps provides employment opportunities for youth and young adults to work on service projects on public lands in Southeastern Utah in partnership with land management agencies.
Crew Members live and work outdoors as part of a crew, completing various conservation projects. Crews are trained to use chainsaws and a variety of hand tools to complete projects. Tasks may include: invasive species removal, fire mitigation work, trail construction, and other conservation-related projects in backcountry and frontcountry settings.
No conservation experience needed.
Love of the outdoors necessary.
Ability to be willing to work hard and be part of a team.
General outdoor experience preferred.
Ability to complete required AmeriCorps hours within term of service dates, be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, and be age 18 by start date (Youth crew must be 15 by start date).
Pass a Federal Criminal History Check.
