  • Demonstrate the ability to interact well with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner and offer assistance as needed.
  • Greet and acknowledge customers quickly, take food and beverage orders, deliver food and beverage orders and provide information about menu and upsell products.
  • Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in the form of cash, traveler check or credit card. Count and provide change to customer as required while following TGI’s cash handling policy and procedures and maintaining proper security of cash at all times.
  • Assist in reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions. Operate and use general restaurant equipment (e.g. warmer, oven, fryer, slicer, grill, etc.).
  • Assist with a variety of kitchen related functions as needed; including preparation, cooking, etc.
  • Receive inventory, move and lift food and beverage products and supplies.
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of products, services and special promotions.
  • Ensure proper food and beverage handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stock rotating and checking temperature of products.
  • Clean and stock area as needed, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart.
  • Clean and sanitize work station, equipment, floors and wash dishes.
  • Other duties as needed and required by Management.

  • Dependability: Is punctual. Can be relied upon to be at work according to schedule. Complies with policies regarding clocking in/out and use of breaks. Communicates schedule changes to appropriate supervisors.

  • Product Knowledge: Overall, demonstrates a working knowledge. Understands most aspects and is capable of performing the job in a competent manner.

  • Cash Handling/Sales Transactions: Cash drawer balances. Handles other transactions with care and accuracy.
  • Store Operations: Is dependable and conscientious about performing tasks. Informs supervisor as needed.
  • Communication: Communicates effectively and listens well.
  • Teamwork/Interpersonal Skills: Is cooperative and helpful. Offers assistance and can be counted on. Interacts well with others.
  • Conduct: Is friendly and even-tempered. Performs consistently and effectively under pressure.
  • Commitment: Shows initiative and follows through with tasks.
  • Other: May be required to perform tasks that are not specifically listed in this job description.
