CT Scan Technologist Job at Rhode Island Hospital - Lifespan
Rhode Island Hospital is hiring per diem and part time CT Scan Techs.
2nd shift part time and per diem opportunities are available. Typical schedules include a weekend rotation.
Summary:
Under general supervision of CT Scan Manager and Lead CT Scan Technologist, according to established procedures, operates a CT scanner and related equipment in order to produce radiographs of any designated anatomical area. Collects and completes records on patient data and equipment operation. Provides assistance to patients and Radiologists. Solves minor equipment problems. Performs calibration tests and other quality control functions on equipment and notifies service personnel as required.
Requirements:
Must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
Must hold a current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Must have a RI state Rad license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
