Custodial Supervisor Job at Malace HR
Malace|HR is seeking a full time Paint Shop Supervisor to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Louisville, KY. The Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of industrial paint booth cleaners to clean paint cells and more. Qualified individuals will have prior supervisory experience and have managed cleaners or maintenance staff in an industrial plant setting
The schedule would be Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 6pm to 6am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops TIS' and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely. This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed.
- Makes arrangements for personnel and equipment.
- Resolves conflicts on the job.
- Evaluates and counsels employees on quality and safety.
- Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.
- Act as a customer/client liaison.
- Investigates all incidents, including: injury, illness, vehicular, property damage, sentinel event and near miss.
- Provide timely and effective feedback to employees.
- Prepare and submit job reports as directed by the Site Manager, Director and/or customer.
- Recommends and conducts disciplinary action when needed.
- Provides management with feedback on employee performance.
- Makes recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Receive and stow materials and supplies received.
- Inspect equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pull out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.
- Conduct site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc.
- Trains and approves crew members per TIS' and is able to perform all physical duties required by personnel.
