WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our Customer Relationship Supervisor, your team’s mission will be to ensure we are striving to be a company that customers want to buy from by managing the customer experience from order receipt to delivery of products. Nearly all of our products are sold B2B to our boat builder (OEM) partners and our certified Seakeeper Dealers, who help us change the way people boat forever! You and your team will provide superb customer service to our partners and ensure a seamless transaction experience for our partners. The primary focus of your role will be:


  • Supporting and leading the Customer Relations team to drive maximum A/R and backlog conversion each week, month, and quarter
  • Leading onboarding and training of new hires and distribution of workload between team members
  • Ensuring each step in the order entry to fulfillment process is completed thoroughly, accurately, and timely (within 24 hours)
  • Overseeing the department’s customer outreach and being a resource when customer relations need to be escalated
  • Ensuring email inquiries submitted to the department are responded to in a rapid and professional manner, always within 24 hours or less
  • Receiving and inputting sales orders into our ERP system (NetSuite), ensuring pricing agrees to our contracted rates and orders are slotted based on customer request and availability
  • Utilizing and communicating the production slot system, collaborating with the production team, and communicating any shipping delays
  • Collaborating with customers to ensure receipt of payment and account requirements are met to ensure timely shipment of product
  • Guiding the dealer and OEM onboarding process for new customer accounts
  • Managing the process for return authorizations
  • Driving timely shipment and delivery of product by partnering with Logistics
  • Implementing processes to drive cross-functional team efficiencies with departments including Logistics, Sales, and Manufacturing

MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years working in a proven customer support role
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading a customer support team
  • Superb people skills with a passion for employee relations and mentoring, coaching, and motivating a team
  • Ferocious attention to detail and exceptionally organized with minimal errors
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude at all times
  • Be professional, responsive, resourceful, and flexible
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with manipulating and interpreting data

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Previous experience managing a remote team
  • Industry experience in or passion for the marine market
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C customer relationships
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite

MORE YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW

  • You’ll be based in our Leesport, PA location full-time
  • On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert!)
  • You’ll report to the Director of Sales Operations, based remotely

YOUR TEAM

Our Customer Relationship Supervisor and their team is nestled within our Sales, Service, and Strategy department and drives widespread on the customer experience. You’ll manage and mentor an efficient team that includes six team members located domestically and abroad. In addition to leading the team, you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by improving efficiencies in delivering our product to customers and expediting payment collection. You’ll work closely with various internal departments, as well as external customers, so you’ll be able to own your role and bring new ideas to the table that will help improve the overall experience of working with Seakeeper.
