Valley Professionals Community Health Center is looking to hire a Entry-Level Customer Service Billing Representative for our Clinton office.

Job duties:
This entry-level position would be responsible for providing requested medical records to patients and other requesting parties, answering and directing phone calls appropriately, and helping patients with their bills, including but not limited to:
- Answering billing phone calls and triage calls
- Taking patient payments over the phone
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Assisting patients with questions on claims
- Responsibly overseeing the copying and distributing of requested medical records
- Is knowledgeable about release of patient information, securing proper authority, and copying patient medical records accordingly
- Staying up to date on all HIPAA requirements in releasing medical records
- Preparing all necessary reports as required; and
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Billing and other management staff.
Requirements:
High school diploma (or equivalence)
2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred
Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates leadership and problem-solving skills in a team-oriented environment
