Job Title: Medical Technician- Patient Care

Location: Avon, CO (NOT a REMOTE Job, applicants must live or be relocating to Frisco, Eagle or Summit County area.)

Work Schedule: Full-time and part-time M-F

*Light on call, with compensation.

Medequip is hiring in our Avon and/or Frisco, CO location. The ideal candidate would have some experience in medical patient care (however not necessary), excellent communication skills, is a collaborative team player and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.

Position: Full Time Patient Care Specialist, assist with CPM, Cold Therapy, brace measuring and fittings, orthopedic medical equipment delivery and set up.

Job Summary

This position provides service to patients through delivery, assembly and instruction on safe use, follow-up visits and on-call trouble shooting of home medical equipment. Completes daily logging, documentation and follow-up on medical equipment.

Essential Functions

Delivers and instructs patients of specified types of CPM (Knee continuous passive motion) home medical equipment, in accordance with physician’s protocols.

Completes documentation associated with delivery of products in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Develops and maintains knowledge of all products, rental and retail sold at the location.

Preferred Qualifications

Some Experience in Medical environment or HME preferred- however not necessary, medical office, clinical experience, EMT, ATC, patient care or similar.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred, Associates Degree or some college preferred.

Ability to use basic office computer software package (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)

Pay: $43,680.00 - $47,840.00 per year
