Haley Mechanical is looking for a dynamic and cheerful Customer Service Representative that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers, and technicians. Our ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, is a self-starter, has some minor bookkeeping experience and a team player to answer calls, dispatch technicians and various office duties.

The position is based out of our Dexter office: 8415 Dexter-Chelsea Road, Dexter, MI, 48130.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Schedule service jobs for technicians
  • Effectively solve customer issues, complaints, and inquiries
  • Keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior
  • Reviewing email requests for service and customer communications
  • Minor bookkeeping
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2 years previous experience in a Dispatcher role, preferably in a call center environment
  • Experience in dispatching for HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical preferred
  • Prior bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent customer service, and organizational skills
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
