We are hiring for seasonal Customer Service Representatives at our multiple locations (Westerville, Columbus (Frank Rd), Dublin & Delaware. This role can be full or part time March - August.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the production site
• Bill drive-up customers and outgoing material as needed
• Enter all Kurtz Bros. tickets in the computer
• Run the scale
• Receive inflow and outflow
• Update and close out the prior day
• Enter time cards and equipment hours
• Contact customers as needed on job information
• Communicate using company radio
• Assess customer needs whether in-person or over the phone, answer questions, provide solutions, provide product information in order to familiarize and assist in merchandise selection, and provide any customer follow-up required
• Become knowledgeable regarding the composition and application of the product line and develop the ability to promote and answer questions regarding the variety of products available to customers
• Accurately process customer sales and coordinate with accounting
• Maintain accuracy in closing cash drawer, completing paperwork and following all closing and opening procedures
• Maintain accuracy with regards to order entry for pickups, deliveries, etc
• Maintain a high-level of customer service to internal and external customers
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
• Follow all Kurtz Brothers, Inc. safety guidelines and complete incident reports immediately when required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' experience in performing general office skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Friendly, positive, and willing to be of service to others
• Able to quickly develop a working knowledge of Kurtz Bros., Inc. products and recycling
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
• Must be able to work flexible hours throughout the year, including weekends
• Good communication and listening skills
• Incumbent will be required to sit, stand, type, use personal computer, two-way radio, and telephone
• Exposure to loud noises, hot/cold temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors
• Ability to ambulate around the site
• Enthusiastic, with a drive for results
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment · Proficiency in office IT suite (excel, word and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new programs/software

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
