We are looking for a Cyber Intelligence Analyst III-Lead (NIWC Pacific) in San Diego, CA.

Position Summary

Provide professional cyber intelligence services assist NIWC Pacific Security Support Services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates cyber threat operations and system vulnerabilities and develops assessments, threat profiles and custom detecting capabilities.
  • Maintains the security and integrity of cyber systems and networks.
  • Identifies and acquires raw, primary, and secondary data for predicative and reactive analyses.
  • Identify cyber threats, and trends.
  • Collaborating with scientific, technical and engineering personnel.
  • Participate in a range of services including research (via JWICS and SIPRNET), researching and disseminating validated Cyber Intelligence products, and regular reviews of key Intelligence Community (IC) classified websites.
  • Provide customers recommendations of new sources for Intelligence to be used by their programs/projects.
  • Research and distribute threat, modeling and simulations, and intelligence mission products.
  • Submit formal tasking to the IC through the Community On-Line Intelligence System for End Users and Managers (COLISEUM) System as needed.
  • Provide RTP support that encompasses technological, programmatic, and security measures consistent with prevailing Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DoN) program protection policies and procedures.
  • Establish and provide subject matter expertise for Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) requirements and Program Protection Plans (PPPs) on an ongoing basis. [This includes collaborating with projects to address Research and Technology Protection (RTP) requirements through direct contact and working groups, assisting with the development of PPPs, developing SCRM protection methods, assisting with CPI assessments and Criticality Analysis (CA).]
  • Report directly to NAVWAR RTP/SCRM lead for tasking and approval of completed work efforts and collaboration with process improvement.
  • Assist the NIWC Pacific OPSEC Office in the review of material (briefings, technical papers, articles, etc.) to ensure that OPSEC requirements are met. (Reviews shall include research on the internet to determine if other/related materials on the same/related technologies have been released, analysis of multiple sources of data, and recommendations for potential changes in order for submitted material to be released to the public.)
  • Assist in conducting random and periodic reviews of any of the Command(s) websites and social media for Critical Information or OPSEC concerns.
  • Assist with the development of OPSEC education and awareness products, to include briefings, posters, internet/social media posts or other materials. Development of products may include internet research regarding articles of use, interest for OPSEC purposes or integration into new OPSEC materials.
  • Assist with the presentation of required OPSEC training sessions for New Employee Orientation as required.
  • Ensure timely compliance by employees with all required contractual, government, and company guidance and training as required.
  • Provide on-site assistance with T3W or NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific organizational and required timekeeping, emails, compliance, or ISO related questions for T3W employees of government customers as required.
Requirements:
  • 7-9 years of experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI
