Communication Technology Services, CTS, www.cts1.com, is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for mobile networks in the U.S. The company specializes in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for the mobile network operators, enterprise and venue owners and network infrastructure owners. We are seeking experienced Lead Technicians for work onsite in the Southeast area, ideally near Atlanta, GA area. 100% Regional travel is a requirement of the position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead Technician/ Technician III is the on-site lead for getting the install complete as directed by the Field Manager and should be proficient at completing these task and meeting the CTS install standards as well as supervising and directing the other CTS Technicians and Subcontractors
Responsibilities:
- Follow direction of Field Manager/ Project Manager
- Ability to lead and direct Technicians and Apprentices in all aspects of DAS installation
- Able to manage daily installation quality and schedule
- Transporting materials
- Ability to conduct Site walk for small venues, retail stores
- Documentation of site walks for future bidding.
- Competent at pulling both Coax and Fiber.
- Able to accept direction, but also able to make good decisions when left to work un-supervised.
- Expert at Coax Cable Termination
- Thorough working knowledge of PIM & Sweep Testing of both Coax & Fiber
- Competent at operation and understanding of all functions of Anritsu Site Master, test equipment
- Basic Understanding of frequency band, protocols and terminology.
- Possess a good level of building code knowledge to be able to do a fully compliant installation.
- Reading the IBW Design documentation and understanding the different installation components.
- Basic knowledge with Fusion splicing and fiber optic testing
- Begin understanding troubleshooting philosophies and procedures
- Understanding commissioning and tuning philosophies.
- Ability to collect data / pictures for closeout package
- Basic understanding of all CTS Products and Services
- Manage timesheets of team as needed
