Pouring with Heart is currently looking for a new Data Analysts Specialist to join our Acquisitions team in Los Angeles, CA.

About This Career

For Pouring With Heart to grow successfully we need to spend time on the ground, touring possible new markets, However, without taking the time to properly learn all we can before planning trips we stand to waste a whole lot of time and money trying to learn on the fly. You make sure this does not happen. You are an expert at researching things from afar using any and all resources at your disposal and any necessary connections to uncover an immense amount of details and knowledge. You are also able to present all this data into portfolios and reports and are easy to read and organized in a way that makes others processing that data effortless.

You can think of yourself as an expert detective. Without you we are blind. With you we are wizards.

About This Department

Acquisitions ~ This the part of our team that finds new bars and locations for us. They focus on doing this in three different ways:

• Turn Key Projects ~ These are exactly that, bars that are already open and successful and just looking to change ownership. These projects in particular are a chance for us to seek out incredible neighborhood institutions that are at risk of being lost, and preserving them for generations to come.
• Renovations ~ These are F&B spots that have the basic layout to work as a bar, but need some TLC. Sometimes we’ll rebrand them, but we’ll also be OK keeping what is a great brand already and just giving it a couple coats of fresh paint, some new seating and maybe a piece of taxidermy or two.
• Construction ~ This is the most intense of all. It’s a ground up build, off a new lease. They take time, money and massive teams to pull off, so while they can be great bars when they’re done we are only able to do so many at once.

This is our approach to Acquisitions. We aren't out there making real estate transactions. We're making friends and building community. We're preserving age old neighborhood institutions. We're signing multi decade leases to create new local favorites that uplift those that live nearby.
