Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Suwanee, GA
Position: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months
Description:
- Unpacking servers and parts (Ability to lift 40 pounds)
- Building pick lists for kitting
- Maintaining inventory of parts and systems
- Packaging the server for shipment
- Coordinating with logistics team for shipping & receiving assembled servers
- Data input into MRP application
- Daily housekeeping of packaging materials
- Assemble servers from work instructions
- Perform system testing using provided routines and instructions
- Troubleshooting and working with subject matter experts to resolve problems
- Install CPUs and GPUs into systems
- Other lab tech role assignments as required
- Cabling (Include Power, Network, PDU etc.)
- Deploying assembled servers to racks and benches
- New rack setup
- Deploying new network switches to racks
- Network cabling within new racks
- Other lab tech role assignments as required
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Work Location: One location
