Job Description:
A Data Collection Driver for WeDriveU drives a Non-Commercial Vehicle, following scheduled, pre-determined routes to collect data for a specialized client throughout the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Attendance, as well as meeting qualitative and quantitative performance standards

· Reliability and punctual.

· Compliance with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations.

· Ability to safely operate and drive a vehicle without a break for a minimum period of 3 hours.

· Ability to adhere to the assigned route and work up to 12 hours a day.

· Ability to interact cordially with client as well as the public.

· Excellent communication skills with dispatcher/managers regarding maintenance/service needs, road concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions by text, email, or phone.

· Full range of peripheral vision.

· Completion of end of day report, and an hourly breakdown.

· Flexibility and ability to follow directions and adapt to different makes/models of vehicles and different routes depending on operational needs.

· Additional duties and responsibilities may apply.
Skills Required and Physical Demands:
· Extensive travel required - ability to travel for at minimum 6 weeks at a time (or longer if preferred) followed by 1 week off.

· Ability to perform a basic manual inspection of the vehicle/rig prior to the route, including checking vehicle tires, lights, and oil.

· Must be comfortable driving in all settings ranging from heavily congested metropolitan areas to very rural country roads.

· Basic computer skills.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to lift-up to 35 pounds and climb a 3-step ladder.

· Must be able to travel for 6 weeks at a time or longer.

· Strong work ethic.

· Excellent map reading skills utilizing a tablet.

· Additional skills and physical demands may apply.
Education and Qualifications:
· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle record check.

· Highschool diploma preferred.
