The Data Engineer supports business process through technology solutions and data integrations. This role is responsible for working in partnership with Architects, DBAs, and other members of Data Engineering teams for the maintenance, enhancement, or creation of data ingestion. This role will have additional partnership with Clients and external partners in ingesting data to meet client deliverables.

What you’ll do

• Design and build new data integrations with SSIS, SQL, and C#.
• Work with Data Analysts or Business Partners to ensure integration requirements are satisfied.
• Support existing processes (analyze/tune queries, implement performance enhancements).
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Relational Database concepts.
• .Net C# application development.
• Proficient at troubleshooting technical issues.
• Relational Database experience (SQL Server preferred).
• ETL experience (SQL Server Integration Services preferred).
• Knowledge of Git or other source control system.
• Experience with document markups like XML and JSON.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in T-SQL/Stored Procedures.
• Good planning and organizational skills with critical attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD is preferred.
• Data modeling experience preferred.
• Cloud integration experience preferred.
• Health Care experience preferred.
• Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
• Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
