The Wealth Management Business Development & Field Training organization supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network.
The Virtual Engagement Associate Program (VEA) was launched to support experienced Financial Advisors by executing aspects of their individual business development strategies. By leveraging Morgan Stanley’s state-of-the-art tools, VEAs help Financial Advisors increase client engagement by managing their digital presence via social media and business Websites, as well as by creating consistent client-specific communication based on Morgan Stanley’s unique Next Best Action tool.
The VEA Data Entry Analyst will be responsible for data entry, audits and quality control for a variety of information critical to the success of the desk. This includes tracking new subscriber requests, capacity, assignments and other related requests. The ideal candidate will have intermediate level experience with MS Excel, be a problem solver, process-oriented, and possess a high level of professionalism in order to work across the VEA Desk and with Program Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Supports the Virtual Engagement Associate (VEA) Program with data entry and reporting for a variety of information
Maintain database of subscribers and assignments for the program
Complete routine audits to ensure the data is accurate, up to date and adheres to the program policies
Manages the assignment process and communicates new / change of assignments to the impacted individuals and their Manager
Provides metrics and reporting on the status of subscriptions and waitlist
Assists with data entry and reporting of people-related information
Partner closely with the Managers, Associate Managers, Business Development & Field Training COO Team and HR
Partner with the Reporting & Metrics Team to enhance process of data management and automate where possible
Thoughtful interaction, and delivery of content, with cross functional business partners and field management
Create and maintain content and documentation; written, visual and power point presentations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 1 - 4 years of professional experience
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience with data entry, analytics or reporting
Self-starter who is organized with strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills
Must be detailed oriented and focused on producing accurate results
Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to track simultaneous competing needs and execute on all necessary actions in a timely manner
Establish, maintain and support strong working relationships across departments and within a fast-paced environment
Be authorized to work in the US without durational restrictions
Successfully complete background checks and pre-employment assessments

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 60000 and 110000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
