Day Treatment Assistant to provide services for a day treatment classroom in
Waynesboro, MS. Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is looking for a positive and ambitious person who is great with communication skills to fill this position. The
Day Treatment Assistant must be able to problem solve, multi-task multiple projects, and think independently. Must be able to obtain Class D Driver's License within 30 days of hire. Experience working with children preferred.
Hours during the school year are M-F 7:00am-3:00pm; Summer schedule may vary based on school needs.

- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health field required
- Class D driver's license required within 30 days of hire
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
- Behavioral health experience preferred
- Experience working in a classroom setting preferred
- Monitors student behaviors and provides redirection when needed, including modeling appropriate behaviors.
- Assists the Master's degree Therapist in the classroom with instruction, clerical duties, and student activities.
- Provides transportation for the program using company van.
