Corewood Care was founded with the philosophy of offering tailored quality care to individuals and their families. We are a privately-owned local agency offering 24/7 quality home care services. Corewood care will be assisting a Senior Living Community with any additional staffing needs. Corewood will be primarily focusing on facility staffing, which would require our DC HHAs and DC CNAs to work on the community Assisted Living floor assisting the staff provide care for multiple residents.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CNA / HHA

As a Caregiver, you follow the plan of care set up by the RN and support older adults by providing medication reminders and assisting with personal care and hygiene, preparing meals, light housekeeping and enhacing quality of life. Your eye for detail assists you as you observe and report any safety hazards found in the resident's home and any changes in the clients mental, physical, or emotional condition.

Qualifications:

• 18 yrs old and older
• Valid/Current DC HHA and or DC CNA
• Valid Current CPR
• At least 1 year professional experience as a caregiver preferred
• Open availability, able to work various shifts to include weekends
• Willing to work facility staffing cases
• Strong interpersonal skills
• **Applicants are expected to pick up shifts within 7 days of hire**

Pay: $19 - $21.00 per hour
