The Kenya-Trusant Group is hiring a Program Analyst II to join our team to provide administrative and related institutional support services to the USAID’s Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation’s Supply Chain Integrity and Freedom (SCIF) Program.

Job Description

  • Supports the preparation of MOUs and other agreements in compliance with General Counsel direction, USAID policies, procedures and best practices
  • Facilitates coordination of engagement activities and direct services to partners and stakeholder, as needed
  • Researches, plans, analyzes, and organizes technical and/or statistical information and develops data for use in briefings, publications, and reports
  • Prepares program communications such as memoranda and letters that seek approval or request information relative to program and operational matters
  • Supports the development and implementation of communications strategy, including its topline messaging, marketing materials, and set of communications tools
  • Write, edit, and oversee the production and dissemination of strategic communication materials, including but not limited to online feature stories, blog posts, case studies, fact sheets, presentations, and video scripts
  • Develops and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product/service collateral and/or exhibits
  • Work in collaboration with a team to manage strategic partnership development with and between key partners, including other donors, Missions and Bureaus, implementing partners, innovators, and other key private sector partners
  • Develops budget and tracks finances/expenditures, and maintains/or provides assistance with administrative and financial tracking systems, and assists in the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases to support these systems
  • Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities to engage other entities in SCIF activities
  • Collect and disseminate stories that focus on SCIF opportunities, successes, risks, and challenges
  • Liaise with other offices and teams within USAID and interagency as directed
  • Maintains/or provides assistance with administrative and financial tracking systems, and assists in the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases to support these systems
  • Serves as a project manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have current Secret clearance
  • At least ten years of relevant experience and a M.A./M.S. degree, preferably in International Affairs, Communications, Economics, Public Policy, Technology, Business or related field. Master’s preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and implementing communication strategies, approaches and multimedia products. it is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize disparate information inputs from multiple stakeholders that reflect the vision and desired end-states of participants.
  • Expertise in federal budgeting and financial tracking.
  • Demonstrated skill in facilitating high level meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time from scheduling, to coordinating, and facilitating high stakes meetings, to preparing, executing and tracking budget, designing and executing comms materials, and similar.
  • Track record of building trusted relationships.
  • Experience serving as a project manager.
  • Experience working with a variety of high level, e.g, CEOs, Presidents, foreign officials, etc, key stakeholders from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
  • Track record of successful work assignments in development of new concepts, experimentation of new approaches, and processes that push new boundaries.
  • Ability to work effectively in a start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
  • Must have a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adjust to changing demands and willingness to “let go” of projects where significant time has been invested and move to the next assignment
Estimated Schedule:
  • Full-time - 40 hrs/ week
  • Telework eligible
Place of Performance:
  • Washington, DC - off site
  • Travel - Limited to No International and Domestic Travel
