Pirate Water Taxi offers hop on-hop off water taxi service at 15 stops along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. We have six water taxis that run 7 days a week year round.

Deckhands assist the Captain at stops along the Hillsborough River on our 36, 46 and 100 passenger water taxis. Deckhands assist with docking and safe loading/unloading of passengers. Boat preparation at the beginning of the day and boat cleanup at the end of the day.

An integral part of this position is to interact with our passengers. You must have a warm, welcoming and outgoing personality. You will be engaging in conversation with many travelers along the route and showcasing our city.

Deckhands answer passenger questions, sell boarding passes and beverages during cruises as well as maintenance and housekeeping of vessels.

This is a very physical job. Deckhands must be fast on their feet and agile.

Pirate Water Taxi is regulated by the United States Coast Guard. We are proud to be a drug free company and comply with all Coast Guard regulations. Pre-employment and random drug testing are required for this position.
