Sign on Bonus $1000 (Based on Experience)

We are looking for new drivers to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences within the Roaring Fork Valley. As a part of our team, you will fulfill the position of Route Driver for FedEx Ground Glenwood Springs on a schedule of 4-10's (4 days/week at 10 hrs/day) or 5-8's (5 days/week at 8 hrs/day). Primary role will consist of package delivery as well as shipping and logistics to service the Roaring Fork Valley. (FULL & PART-TIME POSITIONS NEEDED TO FILL VARIOUS SCHEDULES)

Daily Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

*** Daily routes vary in number of pick-ups & deliveries, but route expectations are set for a full day of work

• Perform daily pre & post inspection on vehicle and submit written report
• Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
• Have full knowledge of & abide by safety guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record (including no cell phone citations or DWI convictions)
• No speeding ticket in excess of 15 MPH over the posted speed limit
• Ability to pass a drug test & DOT physical
• Ability to complete/pass a road test
• Ability to read, speak & write English
• Be of legal status to work in the United States (confirmed by E-Verify system)
• Ability to adapt to meet customers' needs with a polite and professional disposition
• Ability to pass FedEx Ground approval process to become a qualified driver
• Ability to arrive on site at terminal in a timely manner ready to work each work day

Required Physical Qualifications:

• Ability to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
• Ability to climb stiars
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work when it gets dark
• Ability to continually walk at steady pace
