Currently hiring for a remote driver position in California Bay Area and surrounding areas. As part of our Refer Sales Department and under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible of delivering fresh goods to our Bay Area Wholesale and Retail customers on a daily basis. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules and regulations.

Job Description:

· Route starts in Hayward, CA and delivers throughout the Bay Area.

· Day time hours.

· Shifts vary from 8-12 hours per day. Monday through Saturday.

· Deliveries to Warehouse and Retail Stores all over Bay Area depending on schedule.

· Ability to stack/restack according to customer needs.

Essential Functions:

· Deliver product in a prompt and courteous manner.

· Conduct daily inspections of truck and related equipment. Complete and submit reports for record and repairs to Supervisor immediately to ensure expeditious resolution.

· Maintain vehicle in clean condition.

· Accurately, legibly and consistently complete all paperwork related to deliveries (invoices, fuel logs, time sheets).

Personal Qualifications

· Must be self-motivated, with great attitude and able to work with minimal supervision.

· Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Must have a customer focus attitude. Previous experience as delivery driver is a plus.

· Must be able to foresee problems before arise, being able to communicate to Supervisor and be hands on when solving problems.

· Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Job Qualifications

· Must have a current valid Class A driver’s license.

· Must have a current valid Medical Examiners Certificate.

· Must have a minimum of 1 year driving experience.

· Must have a copy of most recent DMV record, provide a copy available for review.

· Must pass a driver and road test.

· Must be qualified to pull 28'-48'-53' reefer trailers.

· Must be able to operate a two wheeled hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, hydraulic lift gate and unloading ramp.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
