Reports to Shift Lead / Team Leader

Description

Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner representative o f the high standards of Pizza Factory. Drivers will receive hourly pay as well as the opportunity to receive tips, paid in c ash at the end of each shift. Drivers will also be expected to efficiently perform back of house cleaning and prep work tasks including doing dishes. You will also be required to prepare food, make pizza and run the c ash register as needed.

Duties and responsibilities

● Complete opening and closing checklists.
● Make deliveries of our product to residential and commercial locations.
● Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars.
● Cross-training for other positions as needed such as phone order taker, and order preparation.

● Accept guest payment, handle credit card charges and make change.
● Clean and maintain equipment and all work areas
● Do dishes and other cleaning projects in between orders
● Be willing and able to work with the team to get the job done - whatever t hat job may be
● Assist t he restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as required by the shift lead.

● Be available to fill in as needed to ensure t he smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

● Be able to prioritize best routing for more than one delivery at a time.
● Handle phone orders with professionalism and accurately collect information needed to complete order.

● Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

● Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
● Promptly report safety, equipment and food quality problems to Manager.
● Perform other r elated duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.

Qualifications & Requirements
● 1 Y ears driving experience required
● Must possess a valid California Drivers License
● Have u se of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle
● Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state l aw.
● Maintain an acceptable driving record a s stipulated by company policy and insurance carrier.

● Be capable of reading a map and interpreting GPS directions.
● Possess basic math skills a nd have the ability to handle money and make change.
● Have exceptional g rooming a nd hygiene habits.

Working conditions
● Must b e able to work in hot conditions f or extended periods of time (80-100 degrees)
● Must be able t o work in cold conditions f or short periods of time (10-40 degrees)
● Must b e able t o safely work around chemicals commonly used in restaurant and kitchen environments

Physical requirements
● Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while working (2-6hours a t a time)
● Must be able to lift up to 5 0lbs
● Frequent bending, turning, shifting, kneeling walking a nd lifting of common kitchen items will be required throughout each shift.

● Must b e able to work around all common foods including but not limited to fruits, nuts, raw meats a nd shell fish that would commonly be found in a restaurant kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
