Delivery Driver (Full & Part Time) Job at Pueblo of Pojoaque
JOB PURPOSE: To provide quality delivery services to customers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Match the order with ticket receipt
- Store the order properly in vehicle
- Deliver orders to different addresses and through different routes
- Deliver orders in a timely and safe manner
- Collect payments
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
- Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
- Excellent Customer Service
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess and maintain a safe driving record
- Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work schedule varies, flexibility required; Required to work weekends and holidays
- Standing-20% /Walking-20% /Sitting-60%; primarily casino/parking lot/highway settings
- Lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Exposure to all types of weather, extended periods of standing, sitting, running, and walking.
- Exposure to heat and smoke from stoves and ovens.
