Dental Assistant Job at Perio Health Institute Pacific-Rim
We are looking for a competent Dental Assistant who will make the dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients.
Responsibilities
- Sterilizing instruments
- Preparing patient and work areas
- Routine cleaning and organizing of work areas
- Assisting Periodontist during procedures
- Wielding suction hose during procedures
- Processing X-rays/taking X-rays
- Keeping and managing patient records
- Ordering and stocking supplies
Skills
- Technical skill - firm grasp on how to use the many kinds of materials used in dental procedures
- Critical thinking skills - being able to think on your feet and adapt to a changing environment
- Physical skill - standing; able to help disabled patients in and out of patient chairs
- Teamworking skills - working side-by-side with other clinic staff
- People skills - making patients comfortable and at ease
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
