Design Technician (VectorWorks) Job at evolve architecture
We are a UK based company who will shortly be opening a subsidiary business in Florida, we are looking for the right candidates to join an exciting new US based team.
As mentioned already We are a medium sized consultancy in the UK, looking for experienced Design Technicians. We are an established company with over 20 years of experience and well known within our field.
You will be working closely with both the internal UK team and with our clients, guiding and advising them along the process of providing detailed design intent & construction drawing packages, also working alongside the operations manager and director both of whom take an active involvement in all projects.
The Role:
· Managing and running your own drawing projects
· Becoming and integral member of our vibrant, creative and hardworking team
· Initially preparing working drawings, layouts, sketches and graphic representations
· Liaising with different clients, contractors and working professionals
· Production of design developments and construction documents along with architectural planning, drafting and detailing
· Attending client and site meetings
The Candidate:
· Excellent technical and drafting skills
· Strong client communication skills and experience
· At least 3-5 years working experience plus
· Experience using and working with Vectorworks design software
· Confident working as part of a team and managing personal workloads
· A positive outlook and strong work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
