Designer/Drafter Job at Leading Edge Mfg
Custom metal fabrication shop looking for a Designer/Drafter with at least 1 year of drafting experience using CAD/CAM/3D Modeling software. 40+ hours per week to start. Competitive wage and benefits package with room to grow, based on experience and performance.

Education Requirements:
Technical Certification in Drafting and Design Preferred
Experience:
1 year of drafting experience in related work using CAD/CAM/3D Modeling (Inventor - 3D preferred)
Job Requirements:
· MUST HAVE a knowledge of design and drafting software.
· MUST HAVE a knowledge of manufacturing processes, concepts, procedures, and terminology.
· MUST HAVE the ability to read and operate tape measure and calipers and have basic math and comprehension skills.
· MUST HAVE a meticulous attention to detail.
· MUST HAVE the ability to problem solve on your own as well as work in a team environment.
· MUST BE willing to work overtime when necessary.
· MUST HAVE a solid work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Job Responsibilities
· Design and draft all necessary projects according to customer or employer specifications.
· Provide all departments with the necessary manufacturing processes to properly perform each department task(s) according to employer and customer specifications.
· Adhere to all company safety protocols and always wear proper personal protective gear and uniforms.
· Adhere to all company standards for quality of product.
· Log all job time in project management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
