In the newly established position as Development Engineer, your main task will be to ensure and support that Kamstrup is continuously developing the highest quality products of the future and learning from the past.

With a direct reference to our Head of R&D - US Water Meters, you will become a part of our Technology Function Team. More specifically, you will join a team of 35 competent and dedicated Project Managers and Development Engineers who constitute our Technology HCW Meters team.

We have a strong established Technology Function Team in Denmark where you will gain technical knowledge on our products in order to support and shape the future growth in the US.

This position will be based at the US Headquarters in Roswell, GA and subsequently in Cumming, GA.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND EDUCATION

• We are looking for an ambitious Development Engineer with a solid technical understanding.
• A technical educational background within engineering, technician, or similar knowledge in electromechanical constructions, and have a basic knowledge on various technical topics like mechanics, hardware, and software.
• Your professional experience is not crucial, but you have a deep interest in technical problem solving, gaining product understanding, understanding production methodologies and their impact on product quality, and other related topics.
• You are structured and thorough in your analytic methodologies and at the same time capable of prioritizing and working on multiple topics at the same time.
• You have solid communication skills and the ability to connect and interact with your peers over remote distances in US and Europe.
• You thrive in a technical role and take ownership of your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This is a newly established position and can be adjusted as time progress, which also mean that you can put your own touch on the future of the role.
• Analyze product performance during quality cases.
• Analyze and report on customer and field application feedback.
• Deep analysis on factors from the field and sustain the feedback loop into the development of new products.
• Support the Service and Quality organizations in customer cases, analysis, and feedback.
• Support with deep technical problem analysis and resolutions.
• Supporting the US organization in general with deep technical product understanding and know how.
