Job Title: Die Corrector
Location: 1 Commerce Avenue Leetonia Ohio
Shift: 1st shift during training period, but may be assigned other work hours based on business needs
Job Summary:
Inspects, files, sands, and polishes surface of extrusion die parts to specified shape and smoothness and inspects dies for conformity to prototype parts or drawings by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lifts and positions die parts on bench.- Studies blueprints, die models, and prototype parts, and compares them with die to ascertain contours.
- Inspects and verifies dimensions and radii of new die tooling before releasing for Die Trial
- After die trial, correct dies to meet print and Customers demand, if necessary.
- Observes pattern where surfaces make contact, and correct until die member conforms to specified contour.
- Review and Inspect die tooling after production to polish or correct die parts.
- Assists in training new die setters and die correctors.
- Inspects smoothness and contour for conformity to print.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Education
- Required: None
- Desired: High School Diploma and/or Technical or Trade Degree or Certificate
- Experience
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
- Physically able to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, squat, stand and walk as needed throughout shift
- Consistently exhibits a positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
