IMMEDIATE HIRE! Location Lakewood, NJ
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic who can diagnose and repair simple and complex bus issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks for our vehicles. The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art computer diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for each bus. School Bus Mechanic responsibilities
- Work with other mechanics to properly diagnose the issue
- Produce accurate and efficient repairs
- Utilize the latest in diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and alert supervisor to issues that will prevent the vehicles from passing inspection
School Bus Mechanic Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required (Associate’s degree preferred)
- 1+ years’ experience performing automotive service and/or vocational education
- Familiarity with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly disposition
Experience Required!
- Diesel Engine Repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Pay dependent on experience*
