The Northeast Health District WIC Office is seeking a Floating Dietitian/Nutritionist to provide clinic coverage for all twelve health departments throughout the district as needed. Under general supervision, plans and conducts service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of family health and control of obesity. Provides health education, nutritional assessment, as well as breastfeeding education and counseling to individuals, groups, or the public consistent with United States Department of Agriculture WIC Program policies and procedures. Serves as a resource for referral to family planning and immunization as well as other appropriate Health Department and community programs and services.

Minimum Qualifications:
Dietitian/Nutritionist 1(HCP020): Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university AND Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.

Dietitian/Nutritionist 3(HCP022): Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program AND One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist AND registration as Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration AND licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
Note: Must be licensed as an RD or LDN.

Annual salary $40,700 - $51,750 depending on qualifications, plus generous benefits including 13 paid holidays, annual and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement plans.
