Pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs.JOB SUMMARYThe Coordinator of Direct Admitting is responsible for increasing patient referrals/admissions from physician to St. Bernards Behavioral Health with a specific focus toward the strategic planning and referrals analysis of such department. Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with clinics and physicians and their specific practices and their referral streams. The position includes, but is not limited to, promoting all behavioral health services to physicians, clinics, etc., implementing strategies to enhance communications with other health care providers, and conducting market assessments and analyzing referral needs. This position will interface with administration, physicians, and the community to determine the health care needs of the service area. This position enhances the image of the St. Bernards Behavioral Health through regular communications with the communities and healthcare facilities within a defined geographic area. This position is required to utilize independent judgment. Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff.
