Direct Support Professional Job at Elm City Rehabilitation Center, Inc.
Elm City is currently seeking Authorized Residential Trainers (Direct Support Professionals) to fill overnight and per diem positions in our CILA homes.
In this position you will:
- Provide training and instruction in community living skills (cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, recreational) to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Assists individuals in obtaining needed supportive services (medical, vocational, recreational, financial)
- Completes all reports and documentation as required.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record. DSP certified preferred.
- Ideal candidates may have previously worked as Direct Support Professional Trainer - Caregiver Trainer - Home Health Trainer - CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Direct Care Worker Trainer - Group Home Caregiver - Mental Health Caregiver - Developmental Disabilities Caretaker - Special Needs Caregiver
