Direct Support Professional Job at Springbrook
We are seeking an experienced person to work part-time with a 17 year old male in East Branch, Hancock, Downsville area. The hours would be 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays or Sundays and or 2:45 pm to 5:15 pm on Mondays or Thursdays. Must be patient, understanding and motivated. Salary is 18.50 per hour plus gas mileage. Compensation includes staff activity fees and mileage paid at the Federal Maximum Rate.
Position Summary:
To provide in-home and community-based assistance to people receiving services throughout all aspects of their lives . Provides support for activities of daily living (ADL’s) including personal care. Promote choice and independence while providing protective oversite. Demonstrate compliance with all Springbrook policies and State regulations to ensure safe and smooth operation of the program.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- COVID-19 Vaccination or willingness to be vaccinated.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
- Valid Driver’s License required
