Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job at Path Forward of Kentucky

Path Forward of Kentucky Glasgow, KY

Do you want a job that’s fun? A job that makes a difference? A job that will allow you to advocate for those with disabilities? If you answered yes, then we want you to join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Glasgow area.

DSPs work one-on-one with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in the community

  • Our DSPs enjoy doing a job they describe as ‘not really work’ because they are taking clients shopping, bowling, to the movies, to restaurants or a variety of other activities that allow our clients to be more included in social situations and build relationships
  • You could help educate the community about people with disabilities through your work with PFK, just through companionship with our clients
  • Lack of experience is not a problem, we are here to help you succeed – in class paid training and online courses are available
  • Work another job? Taking college classes? As an Independent Contractor, you make your own schedule

The ideal DSP is compassionate, flexible, has a current driver’s license with reliable transportation, cell phone, access to the internet and data entry skills.
