Our agency is seeking Direct Support Professionals who have a genuine interest in serving the medical and social needs of our clients. The right candidates will be passionate about providing high quality, compassionate care and experience in one or more direct support service disciplines. A Direct Support Professional is motivated by helping others and enjoys providing one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities or medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and assistance to individuals in daily living, including physical care, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, eating and leisure skills.
- Assist with daily living skills development, decision making and transitions.
- Provide support to other Direct Support Professionals and work team.
- Communicate information and concerns to supervisor, treatment team members and other support personnel.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state laws, as well as county policies and procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $21.11 per hour
