Direct Support Worker Job at Activities of Daily Living Services
We are looking for committed employees willing to work as part of a team to provide compassionate care and help others with developmental disabilities achieve their individualized goals. As a DSW, you will support individuals in learning the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of life such as community involvement, job skills, education, personal health, and daily living skills. We are looking to hire for mutilple areas throughout region four. Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin and Vermillion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older; possess a valid Driver’s license/ID, (for some programs) have a reliable and insured vehicle to transport client during shift; be able to pass all background checks; and must have full range of motion, physical strength and ability to achieve and maintain trainings and certifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
All workers are required to wear a mask at all times when working with clients.
