Job Summary
The Director of Brand Marketing is responsible for creating Harwood’s hotel luxury brand and international marketing strategy. Key duties include creating brand content, optimizing digital strategy and supporting international campaigns and marketing plans to drive the luxury brand standard awareness objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the brand’s marketing brand strategy, identity, creative and voice/communication tone.
  • Develop marketing strategies, manage budgets, develop and execute programs and direct marketing campaigns, as well as advance key relevant segments.
  • Oversee effective performance and optimize the marketing and analytical approach on a continuous basis.
  • Manage digital agencies and implement multi-channel brand campaigns.
  • Work with outside agency partners to ensure smooth execution across all channels, including the website, digital marketing, organic social, paid social, PR, e-mail marketing and more.
  • Integrate consumer-based websites, guest experience, marketing insights and local competitor studies to tell an encompassing story for our Hotel brand.
  • Execute brand initiatives, building an integrated support structure to ensure that we activate ideas to maximize impact from public relations, digital, content & events.
  • Spearhead the development of the marketing plans for any new hotel openings, driving cross the integration of Harwood’s main verticals.
  • Assists projects that will encompass new websites including organizing branded content and updating brand copy and assets according to new strategies.
  • Ensure successful delivery on brand objectives, drive creative thinking and ensure that best practices are shared across properties

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree focused on marketing, communication, digital or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with luxury brands and hotels
  • Strong creative direction, drive to understand ownership needs and customer marketing strategy, the ability to express new ideas
  • Passion to understand art, luxury design and up-scale hospitality industry
