Rural outpatient clinic several hundred miles west of Anchorage, AK seeking a permanent, full-time Behavioral Health Director of Residential Services.

Sign-on bonus of $7,500-$10,000. relocation assistance of $15,000-$20,000, 7-9% retention bonus, student loan repayment options, and 30 days of temporary housing.

Salary: $95,000-$120,000 annually, DOE

Behavioral Health Director of Residential Services Job Summary:

• Provide direct clinical and administrative oversight of all residential facilities in behavioral health programs
• Coordinate all facets of delivery of behavioral health and substance abuse services in residential programs
• Responsible for insuring compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, licensing, and all other regulations and laws
• Responsible for ensuring that programs policies, procedures, applicable state and national accreditation standards are met.
• Provides clinical guidance and supervision to team members
• Ensure the treatment program makes necessary changes and updates to reflect current treatment philosophies and needs of the clients served
• Conduct behavioral health evaluations of individuals who suffer mental disturbances or present with a wide range of emotional disturbances.
• Must have knowledge and ability to comply with The Joint Commission standards, Medicaid regulations, and all applicable laws and regulations

Behavioral Health Director of Residential Services Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing with a specialty in Mental Health. Two (2) years supervised experience providing various behavioral health direct services performed at a satisfactory level.
• Experience in a cross-cultural setting, preferably with Native American cultures
• Appropriate State of Alaska licensure required or must be able to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum experience: Two years of supervisory experience in mental health treatment; two years of management experience; residential experience preferred
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or LMFT
• Computer literacy required
• Supervise Behavioral health Clinicians
