Director of Crisis & Inpatient Services.

Job Summary

The Director of Crisis & Inpatient Services provides direct supervision and oversight of Operation Administrators and RN Administrators, RN Supervisors (when appropriate) and Program Managers of the Southern Crisis facilities within the area of responsibility of the Clinical Operations Department. Direct oversight of operations of each assigned Crisis Unit, Inpatient Facility, and Residential Program in Pima County and/or Cochise County. Responsible to ensure that Management Team is working with one another and other departments to ensure programs have continual monitoring of required quality indicators and regulations. Responsible to ensure that Operations Administrators and Program Managers are monitoring services being delivered and reporting any barriers to services. Responsible for functional flow of facilities and will communicate barriers to the Senior Director of Crisis Services when then arise (COO in the absence of the Senior Director of Crisis Services). Responsible for all Corrective Action Plans delivered to each Operation Administrator, Program Manager, and RN Administrator by the Quality Management Department. Skills/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a field related to behavioral health. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of management experience or the equivalent through work experience in facility-based crisis or medical facility required.
  • Data management including proficiency in excel and other reporting programming required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License.
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor preferred.
  • RN license if hired at the RN level
  • AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card or good cause exemption required.
