Location: Hybrid- Must reside near Salt Lake City, UT
Must have 2 years of SNF experience and RN License.
SUMMARY
: The Informatics Specialist establishes best practices and provides ongoing program support of the EHR programs. This position provides general direction and support to strategic change initiatives related to clinical information systems. Coordinate the analysis, development, implementation, education, evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of clinical information systems to support patient care. Main software includes but is not limited to PCC.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical software training and education to all staff at facility level as necessary.
- Monitor EHR usage conducting by conducting audits for each facility ensuring usage and compliance
- Work with facility staff end users to understand needs or issues, finding and applying appropriate and accurate solutions in a timely manner.
- Serve as a critical member of project team for product upgrades and enhancements.
- Provides exemplary support, recommend strategies and tactics to satisfy facility needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCC software and applications capabilities
- Effectively communicates with all appropriate management, facility staff and end users on progress and problems related to support requests and systems projects.

- Facilitate the update of facility level training guide
- Facilitate the creation of reference guides to support facility-based implementation.
- Maintain compliance to company regulation-based HIPAA/HITECH Policies and Procedures.

UALIFICATIONS
:
- LPN License (Required)
- 2 years minimum of experience in SNF
- 2 years experience in PCC
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
