High growth insurance firm seeking a driven professional with proven experience in the property, casualty, and commercial insurance industry to lead carrier relations and strategy. You will be responsible for leading the seamless transition of carrier contracts from the seller to our company.

Responsibilities

· Work directly with the Executive team to develop and present strategy for all carrier operations.

· Manage all appointments, vendors, and teams necessary to sustain progress.

· Lead ownership transition after purchase of asset with carriers and other legal entities.

· Review and complete requested documentation for each carrier.

· Obtain and update carrier codes, contracts, commitments and non-resident state appointments.

· Pursue new carrier contracts.

· Bank changes with Operating and Trust accounts.

· Update tax ID’s and any specific state requirements.

· Update Ivans account.

· Resident and non-resident licensing for asset and company.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of property/casualty/commercial insurance industry experience in a high growth environment.

· Experience growing and leading a team.

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (e.g. create new documents, edit existing files, create tables, sort/filter data, print documents, generate new records, email and calendar).

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and composition.

· Verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.

· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction.

· Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
