We are looking for an experienced Marketing Director. This person will be an integral part of our overall growth plans and provides strategic marketing leadership for the marketing department. The director collaborates with the rest of the marketing team to develop campaigns and tactics to advance Hangout Hospitality Group’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities for Marketing Director

• Manage direct staff, agencies, and marketing partners
• Develop and maintain marketing plans and growth goals
• Assist team with marketing content development and deployment
• Develop and execute annual promotional and event calendar
• Develop recruitment strategy in partnership with Recruitment Manager & HR for marketing execution
• Review and report data analytics to make recommendations for decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and team members
• Develop and maintain relationships with sports, businesses, philanthropy, and media
• Support, assist and collaborate with the operational team and management
• Proactively generate ideas or media outreach and increase visibility with community efforts
• Facilitate and oversee community involvement and opportunities
• Draft press releases, media advisories, talking points as needed
• Serve as a representative of Hangout Hospitality Group on hospitality related special projects, committees, and task forces
• Serve as a representative of Hangout Hospitality group for local community projects and public, social and business gatherings

Requirements for Marketing Director

• BA or marketing degree preferred
• 5+ years relevant work experience (Restaurant preferred)
• Strong writing skills
• Highly organized with experience in managing against timelines
• Proficient in social media management and analytics
• A customer-focused attitude
• Adobe Creative Suite experience- preferred
• Strong drive for results with a proven track record
• Excellent understanding of team dynamics and proven leadership abilities in a collaborative team environment
• Able to successfully accommodate multiple client’s needs at the same time
