Shift Availability for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Full-time Mon-Fri Days, Salary
• $5,000 sign-on BONUS

Responsibilities of Director of Nursing (DON):

• Overall management of the skilled Nursing department
• Effectively plans and directs administration of each Nursing unit
• Work directly with VP of Operations on overall quality objectives
• Executes resident care policies in consultation with the medical director
• Directs hiring and training of Nursing staff
• Provides supervisory support to all shifts
• Ensures adequate staffing coverage of clinical care roles for all shifts
• Participates in staff development and employee retention initiatives

Qualifications of Director of Nursing (DON):

• Covid-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment.
• Current valid RN License in Pennsylvania
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 5 or more years of recent nursing or clinical experience (including management level roles)
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
• CPR certification (prior to or upon hire)
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills
