JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of procurement, forecasting sales, inventory and margin for the retail division of Shryne Group. This role is responsible for the end to end planning and purchasing of various in-house and 3rd party brands across multiple channels while meeting company vision and profitability goals.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Success: Execute and manage all product projects to position Shryne Group as the market leader with a world-class customized product offering. Focusing on delivery of goods on time and in full per stakeholder requirements.

  • Responsible for oversight of inventory planning, purchasing and allocation for all retail locations and any other channels of sales that are assigned
  • Manage/Lead a team of planners and buyers to achieve retail revenue and operational targets
  • Aggregate procurement managers forecasts globally to review with manufacturing
  • Problem-solving management: Prevent and solve issues, understand, and mitigate problems with other departments
  • Identify process gaps and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align and continuously improve
  • Mange stock and sales flow to achieve financial plan
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships internally and with 3rd Party Brands
  • Oversee account set up and maintenance including working with finance/accounts payable and operations
  • Collaborate with sales operations to ensure holistic planning as a company
  • Build out annual forecasting and sales plans at a category and sku level by store
  • Manage aging inventory and disposition plans with internal and external partners
  • Implement seasonal sales, promo and launch strategies into the annual planning process
  • Collaborate with all cross functional stakeholders to address any concerns in the manufacturing and/or distribution of products to retail locations
  • Partner with the organization’s management in the evaluation and selection of vendors as well as the negotiation of purchase contracts or service level agreements.
  • Lead cross functional projects as required to improve processes for the organization
  • Set KPIs and ensure the team is consistently reviewing weeks of supply
  • Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions that align with the Company’s core values.
  • Identify the prevention and resolution of problems/delays and communicate escalations
  • Sense of urgency and ownership of the projects and deliverables

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge in retail, inventory planning, demand planning, operations, finance, and procurement
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail math and how to influence metrics
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness
  • Customer focused/service oriented
  • Detail oriented and a high level of organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Agility: ability to adapt to rapid pace and high-pressure environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of inventory planning or procurement experience
  • Experience managing multiple levels of open to buy
  • Experience managing and developing team members
  • Retail experience preferred
