Role Summary
As the Director of Service Implementation, you are responsible for the implementation and operational success of Service of the Future initiatives across a defined Division.
Reporting lines:
As the Director of Service Implementation, you report directly to the Head of Service of the Future in your region.

Your key responsibilities:
Service of the Future Change Leadership
  • Support the implementation and ongoing success of the 4 x 90s and 4 x 100s within the defined region.
  • Lead the implementation of workstreams from the SoF program within the defined region, using effective Influencing, Project Management and Change Management skills and Leadership to ensure buy in and successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and planning of workstreams to achieve the aims of the SoF program.
  • Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the region including but not limited to General Management, Head of Functions (e.g., Physics, RT, Dosimetry, Patient Services), Centre Leaders, Craft Group Leads, Doctors/Physicians, Nursing, Physics, RT, Dosimetry, Patient Services/Admin and Shared Services staff.
  • Participate and contribute to cross network collaboration through the SoF workstreams, while also creating other opportunities for sharing knowledge and effective collaboration.
  • Explore opportunities for continuous improvement across all SOF workstreams.
  • Provide business context to the SoF team to ensure change in each region is coordinated, paced, and implemented appropriately.
  • Collaborate closely with peers across the network to share resources and create best practice opportunities that are efficient and effective.
  • Coaching and mentoring of Center leaders, Physician relationship Managers & Regional Leaders.
Service of the Future Clinical Excellence
  • Clinical subject matter expert portfolio management across: Skin Program, VisionRT, Stereotactic, MIM auto contouring and Automation planning, Aria and Mosaiq.
  • Support education and training for clinical best practice in our centers
  • Clinical and Operational review of incidents, supporting root cause analysis and outcomes.
  • Clinical Reference Group membership and support on standardising best practice and implementation
  • Radiation Therapist Leaders Forum membership and contribution to policy, protocol and work instruction review and development.
  • Mentoring and coaching of Clinical team members, Senior Therapists & Dosimetry.
Change Management Activities
  • Apply a structured approach and lead change management activities within the region.
  • Assess and provide insight into the impact of changes at the region level.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance; identify, create, and engage change advocates and create a positive change network within the region.
  • Assist in the development of technical capability within the region to ensure ongoing sustainability of initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the GenesisCare leadership values in the context of the change program.
  • Identify and report risks and prepare risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide input into the development and implement communication plans, develop content, and deliver messages around changes in a positive and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement training plans, assist in the development of content, and where required deliver training within the region.
  • Coach people leaders in the change.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress in the region.
Governance
  • Participate in the governance process for the SoF program, including Steering Committees and reporting as required.
  • Participate in any other governance and reporting activities as required.
Teamwork
  • Work cooperatively within the Global SOF team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.
Your key working relationships:
As the Director of Service Implementation, you will need to develop strong relationships with the following internal parties:
  • Executive Manager & Global Head of Program Management, Service of the Future
  • National Operations Manager
  • General Manager, Cancer Care
  • Executive Manager, Cancer Care
  • Service of the Future Peers
  • Centre Leaders
  • Craft Group Leads
  • Business Development Team
  • Doctors/Physicians, Tumour Reference Groups and Clinical Management Committee
In addition, you need to develop strong external relationships with various individuals/agencies/key stakeholders., including:
  • Vendors
  • External Service Providers
  • External Doctors and Healthcare staff

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience working in Radiation Oncology
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Knowledge of and experience in a Radiotherapy environment and associated allied healthcare services, with a focus on operational and clinical excellence (measured by 4 x 90s and 4 x 100s).
  • Demonstrated acumen in people and process change management and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in liaising, influencing, and negotiating with staff across craft group families at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Understanding of the principles and experience in project management.
  • Ability to use software for data analysis and reporting purposes.
