We are looking for a Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis to oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of executive leadership and in partnership with functional departmental heads. MEDIKO is looking for the individual in this role to help drive operational excellence and strategic transformation throughout the entire organization. Due to the critical nature of this position, it will report directly to the VP of Operations and requires approximately 25% travel to ensure proper collaboration with all MEDIKO locations throughout the country.


What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the organization including the need for changes to support the growth.
  • Creates and manages communication plan with business leaders across all functions in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Manages Key Performance Indicators program for entire company, ensures proper tracking, reporting and alignment to goals. Creates and manages all-inclusive company Business Metrics Scorecard and Dashboard.
  • Manages, prioritizes and delivers a highly successful cross-functional project portfolio (on time, on budget, etc.).
  • Coordinates with business unit administration and line managers to produce business and product plans that are profitable; evaluates these plans on a periodic basis.
  • Improves current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Reviews, designs, and executes on improvements to organizational structure, identifies knowledge and skills gaps and helps address them.
  • Executes on risk management and productivity focused process improvement initiatives (6 Sigma, Lean, etc.) – included but not limited to: contract adherence, compliance and reporting measures, best in class process standardization and change management, and key vendor relationships
  • Leads trials concerning new business initiatives, pilot programs, and regional rollouts; based on results, makes, recommends, and implements adjustments and modifications.
  • Monitors business climate, trends in technology, operations and development in areas of the company’s current and anticipated lines of business.

Acts as a coach, mentor and advocate for the continuous improvement and development of all employees, managers and business leaders.

  • Manages Corporate Safety and Business Continuity Program to ensure compliance with commercial liability insurance needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


What We Require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or industry-related field required; MBA highly preferred.
  • Process Improvement Certification preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in the industry or acting as a consultant on major strategic planning projects required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of business administration, management, and business forecasting strategies and techniques.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and management to key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics attainment, scorecards, dashboards, etc.
  • Excellent track record working in and supporting a highly collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
